Join us as we welcomed the dynamic duo, Dr. David Unwin, a distinguished GP from the UK, and Clinical Psychologist Dr Jen Unwin, to the vibrant shores of New Zealand. Both Unwins are part of our HRC research project, and they’re here to share their insights with you, from their clinical practice that is changing lives.

​Dr. David Unwin, internationally renowned for his innovative and cutting edge approach to managing diabetes, talked about his work on reversing prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes through a carbohydrate reduction approach. It was a session filled with eye-opening insights and stories that challenge conventional wisdom in health care.

​Dr Jen Unwin discussed the complex realm of carbohydrate addiction. As a Clinical Psychologist, she brings a unique perspective to the table, offering invaluable insights into the crucial concepts of behaviour change and the psychological aspects surrounding our relationship with food and carbohydrates.

​This event was an opportunity to learn about the science and practice of managing and reversing prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes, amongst other conditions.
