Dr Caryn Zinn is an AUT Professor of Nutrition, and a Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of research and clinical experience. Her research and practice focus on whole-food nutrition and holistic lifestyle strategies in the contexts of metabolic health. She is a recognised leader in therapeutic carbohydrate-reduction and lead investigator for the AUT Reverse T2D implementation science research project aiming at changing the way healthcare is delivered to people with prediabetes and T2D in primary care in NZ.
Caryn is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Metabolic Health and co-author of the best-selling “What the Fat?” series. Her work continues to influence both clinical practice and public health nutrition globally.
